- Around the world in 80 scoops

To start the summer in style we teamed up with travel insurance specialists, InsureandGo and Rossi's Ice cream, to launch a week long brand awareness campaign, 'Around the world in 80 scoops.'

How it worked

  • Exclusive InsureandGo pop-up ice cream parlour across 2 locations Canary Wharf & Londons' Southbank
  • Brand Ambassadors sampled 80 unique and exciting ice cream flavours inspired by different countries around the world
  • Creative elements of the stand included, a Venetian gondola, a Chinese Pagoda and Pyramids for visitors to relax whilst sampling their ice-cream
  • Live daily performances from belly dancers, venetian ballerinas and a steel pan musician to get people in the holiday spirit
  • Green screen photo mechanic captured visitors enjoying themselves against a back drop of breath-taking destinations from around the world, with their photo shared online and printed on a branded postcard
  • Visitors were invited to enter a competition to design their own ice-cream flavour inspired by a specific country and then upload their entry via social media using #80scoops

The Results

  • 18,000 ice cream samples consumed over 6 days
  • 80 different countries and flavours sampled at each location
  • 1,000 green screen images captured and shared online
  • Silver award winner for 'Best Experiential Campaign' at the 2015 Travel Marketing Awards
