A four week experiential roadshow touring 56 shopping malls across the UK to encourage 100,000 7-9 year olds to learn new skills and audition them to become one of the stars in Fruit Shoot’s television advert.

How it worked

  • Children were taught simple skills such as juggling, hula-hoop and plate spinning by on brand, well trained ambassadors
  • The children then performed their new skill in an audition
  • Shortlisted auditions were streamed on Fruit Shoot’s website where the public voted for their favourite performers
  • 4 lucky winners made it onto the TV commercial

The Results

  • 110,000 consumer interactions, with 67,000 kids learning new skills
  • 1 million hits to the Fruit Shoots website
  • 82% of engagers would go on to purchase
  • Each parent told an average of 11 people about the experience
  • Winner of Most Effective Shopping Mall Tour 2010 at FMBX Awards
